authority check BI7

Hi,

We are running sap BI7 in netweaver 2004s. We have generated authorizations and assigned them. Now, we want to know how to make autority-check on generated profile (RSR_xxxxxx) for include this in main user program.

Thanks for your answer. But I know the AUTHORITY-CHECK instruction. I would like to test the automatic or manual assignment (transaction RSECADMIN->User->Assignment) with the AUTHORITY-CHECK. I don't know the value for the parameter OBJECT : S_RS_AUTH ?. I suppose que the value for the parameter ID is the name of characteristic (for example 0COORDER for the cost center) written in the assigned authorization.

Hi Adrian,

I do not know whether I completely get what you wanted to say, yet you assign the authority you created in RSECADMIN to the Authorization Object S_RS_AUTH in the profile.

Since you are talking about a generated profile, you can inlcude this in a role that you can subsequently assign to a user or user group, respectively.
