Hi All,
In our project we want to use EP for authorization purpose, say - our application will be a web application and we want to use SSO for user(SAP User) login and later show different data regarding the user's role.
As I am totally new to EP, anyone can tell me how to do this or recommand some document? e.g. what we need to install, how do we connect with SSO server to verfigy user's logon information..
thanks,
Bin

Hi,
There are a few solutions to integrating 3rd party solutions within the SAP portal:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/8f/ae29411ab3db2be10000000a1550b0/content.htm
The one we are using at the moment integrates IBM Websphere (Webeal) into the SAP portal as an access point for vendors to the portal by Header Variables.
Here is some documentation on how to do this: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/d0/a3d940c2653126e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
Keep in mind that there are many solutions to deriving the same goal ... what separates them is cost of owenership, maintenace, degree of security and ease of integration.
