Analysis for Office query speed for CDS view?

Hello

I have used Excel AO for BW queries (refresh through VBA), and the speed is pretty good (less than a minute for a report).

Now the similar set of data are in S4, and we are using CDS view to access it.  The refresh speed through VBA is much slower, more than 2 mins.

Is it possible to speed things up?  If yes, any idea how?

My VBA code is rather simple, set some input prompt values and refresh.

At CDS level you can create Prompts , this will improve the performance.
