We are using SSO, so when the user goes to R/3 via the webgui, the logon page with the change password button is not displayed. What is the best way to enable the user to change his/ her R/3 password via the portal?

Hi Gianluca:

I am not sure how to set the password to blank. I am calling the webgui using an IAC iView. In the iView property editor, there is a line for application parameters where I have entered password= and I tried ~password= But it seems that the parameter is being ignored and the ITS server is just looking for the SAPLogonTicket since we have SSO set-up. Can you explain in further detail how I can override the SSO and get the logon screen to be rendered?

Thanks,

Doug

One way can be personalize the logon data of ITS to the webgui service. If you set the service parameter of password with blank, the system display the logon screen where exsist the button to change the password.
