Adding additional fields to Row#1 name in CrossTab

Former Member

I wish to display two additional fields to the right of my Row#1 Name without creating Row#2 or Row#3 total rows.

Plus, I need to be able to export the cross tab report to Excel where each field in crosstab row#1 name will be a separate column in Excel.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for responding.

How do you attach a word doc to this post/comment?

Thank you in advance for your attention on this matter.

This is the results of a formula field concatenating  three fields so they appear on one row and do not create multiple totals. But when exported to Excel those three fields are in one cell. Not the desired results, see third screenshot below.

This comment goes along with the third photo, which should have been first.

2nd Photo comment :This is what happens when you just add the fields, format is not the end desired results

3rd Photo,(Excel shot) comment: Using the concatenation yields the three fields into one cell, that then needs to be broken out by means of an elaborate formula, which I do not want end users to have to deal with.

Thanks for the excellent explanation, Edmund.

To suppress the subtotals, here's what you need to do:

Right-click the blank white space to the top left corner of the crosstab > select Crosstab Expert > Customize Style > Highlight the second field under 'Rows' > Click 'Suppress Subtotal'.

Do the same for the third field in the list.

For best results, export to the Excel Data Only format.
