Add the possibility to accept more than one answer

This was raised a few times lately, and was already asked for on the old SQLA1 site:

Accepting several answers as "the accepted one" would be useful when several contributors help to solve/clarify a topic, and when it's hard to tell which one is more relevant.

And the alternatives do work but don't seem to fit too well with the reputation system:

  1. Choose one answer randomly.
  2. Summarize the points in a separate answer and "accept" that. - This would usually be done by the person who asked the question, and would somewhat feel like stealing points for others's contributions...

On the other hand, this feature would certainly be helpful for only a minority of questions - it's usually enough that each answer can be voted up on its own. And IMHO this site hasn't suffered from too much voting so far:)

So I'm just asking if there are plans to support this feature.

Oops (again)... again I accidentally deleted a comment-not-my-own: Volker making a comment about how "Volker" does not show up in a search of dilbert.com so his answer would not be picked by the "Breck Tie Breaker Method". The solution is simple, however...

Not certain if I should accept that answer:)

How long before this forum becomes the unofficial backup repository for dilbert.com? 😉

Well, according to Breck's blog, I'd expect a coming (Latin-focussed) celebrities repository as well:)
