Add new key in transformation

Hello BWers !

I'm using a transformation between DataSource 0CRM_POSITION_ATTR and ATTRIBUTES of 0HRPOSITION :

(RSDS 0CRM_POSITION_ATTR D1CCLNT200 -> IOBJ 0HRPOSITION)

I would have 0DATEFROM Field from 0HRPOSITION as a key into the transformation.

Can I do that, and how ?

Thanks for help.

Vince.

I dont think you can, as the DATEFROM is an attribute of HR position, which is a key by itself.

Other workaround would be to make DATEFROM compounded to HR position, that way it can be a key too. Not sure if this works for ur requirement.

In fact, the datasource was in 3.x and so I migrated it in 7.0.

In 3.x, update rule had 3 keys : 0HRPOSITION, 0DATETO and 0DATEFROM.

After the migration, when i create a transformation from 0CRM_POSITION_ATTR to 0HRPOSITION, only two keys are indicated : 0HRPOSITION and 0DATETO...

I don't know why 0DATFROM is no more considered as a key !!! This "bug" leads to an error in DTP !

That's why i would this field as a key (like before migration)...

We can change it changing keys in the target... (RSD1, go the the corresponding table of Master Data)
