Hi,
I have a legacy system that I connect to over ODBC via excel and other tools. The 32 Bit ODBC Data Source Administrator lists a System Data Source using the Adaptive Server Anywhere 9.0 Driver. However, when I go to excel/ms query to query data the system dsn using the ASA9.0 driver does not appear. Other system dsn's do appear. Saved queries continue to function, I can't author new queries or edit existing.
Thanks

What OS version are you using: 32bit Windows or 64bit Windows?
I suspect that you applications - "excel and other tools" - are 64bit and therefore the 32bit DSNs cannot be used (since it uses a 32bit driver). If you are using 64bit applications, then you will need to either need to switch to using 32bit applications or use a 64bit SQL Anywhere driver.
HTH

I recently encountered this error. The only other solution I found was an ODBC Bridge Tool. This is the one I use - https://www.easysoft.com/products/data_access/odbc_odbc_bridge/index.html#section=tab-1
