Activating Info object characteristics?

hello all

Iam trying to activate my Infobject char,in two ways like r.click on my infobject and activate master data and trying to activate by attribute change run,since one record entrie in my master data has been changed?

but its not activating and its saying like infobject has already in active and it maintaining to records one in 'M' version and one in 'A' version?

how should i solve this?

Hi Balaji,

Do an "Apply Hiearchy/Attribute Change". I guess you did try that and probably that did not work. Give it another try.

RSA1 -> Tools -> Apply Hier/Attr Change -> Info-objects -> Select the Info-object -> Save -> Execute.

i already done what you said but still its maintaining two records? 'M" version and "A" version

Hi Balaji,

Go to transaction CHANGERUNMONI to see whether the change run was successfully completed or not. Also check note 915515 for the same.

run the program rsdds_aggregates_maintain and give the infoobject name and execute .

Hi,

Goto RSATTR transaction code.And click on Infoobject button and see the Masterdata infoobjects list and select the required infoobject and click on execute and refresh.

Now your Masterdata will be changed.See the color of the object whether it is in Block or Blue (in the list).

Once the Masterdata is changed you can run it.
