Activate AWS AMI obtained from CAL suse-sles-12-sp1-sapcal-v20180105-hvm-ssd-x86_64 (ami-e004968f)

We use an AMI (Amazon Machine Image) from CAL (Cloud Application Library) in AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Unfortunately I am unable to activate SLES (Suse Linux Enterprise Server).

AMI:

suse-sles-12-sp1-sapcal-v20180105-hvm-ssd-x86_64 (ami-e004968f)

I already tried:

 /usr/sbin/registercloudguest --force-new

Which results in :

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for sharing your findings. We had a parallel discussion with SUSE and received the same information.

As a short term solution we are validating the latest sp1 AMI and plan to update the SAP CAL solutions next week.
