Access denied while connecting to Qlik server

0 Kudos

Dear community, after a lot of hours spent for analysis why connection to external server does not work I hope you have an idea:

We want to trigger a command at Qlik server side by using a BW processchain (ABAP Program with variant).

The report used here uses this and gets "Access denied"

call function 'RFC_REMOTE_EXEC'
destination rfcdest
exporting
command = command
tables
pipedata = pipedata
exceptions
system_failure = 1 message rfc_mess
communication_failure = 2 message rfc_mess.

We checked SMGW, firewall, telnet, configuration Qlik server, read/write authorities to target folders,....

We activated the trace for the RfC-connection QLIKVIEW_PUBLISHER_MEDCO_CIB at our test system:

Report RSRFCTRC:

Whatever we do -> still "access denied". I have to mention that it worked in the past.

I run out of knowledge

Remark: the same program is used (with different variant) to trigger an event on different Qlik server -> it works.

Does anyone have an idea?

Regards,

Peter

Dear Daya, thanks for your quick reply. But has nothing to do with transports or so... As described: using the report with a different variant embedded in the process chain (type ABAP report) it works. It is only a specific problem with the connect from SAP BW to Qlik server. Regards, Peter
