Hi,

The quality standards and testing will changes company to company. Generally after developing all the repots, first FUnctional COnsultants will check the reports with existing data and tehn they post some data in ECC and then do the delta loads and check again, so once the Functional Consultants will say OK then the objects will move from Dev to Qty there also First Functional Consultants will chekc the reports and then they will release it to Users, and Functional COnsultants will prepare the Test cases for the same one. Once the reprots are approved by Users then signoff will happen.

Thanks

Reddy

Hi ,

Adding to above normally we will folow the below steps.

1. Check load of master data (if necessary) for each BW infoobject against the ERP Source tables respectivly transactions

Check extractor logic (e.g. additional fields of extraxt structure in standard extractors and appended fields using user

exits) (if necessary)

Check number of master data sets (take in cosideration if there is a selection criteria in the infopackage)

Check if all attributes are populated correctly

Check hierarchy (if necessary)

Check hierarchy (if necessary)

"Check Delta Loads (if necessary)

2. Check load of transactional data for each BW infoprovider against ERP Extractor Checker (RSA3) and against the ERP Source tables respectivly transactions

Check whether the PSA contains the same data quantity and quality like the ERP source tables

Check number of data sets in data target against PSA (take in cosideration if there is a selection criteria in the infopackage)

Test of start routine in the transfer rules (e.g. filtering, calculations or field mapping)

Check Aggregation: characteristics and key figures (ADDITION or OVERWRITE)

Check if all characteristics of the transactional dataset are filled correctly

Check if all key figures are populated and calculated correctly (e.g. check ADDITION or OVERWRITE functions in ODS, etc.)

Check if all key figures are populated and calculated correctly (e.g. check ADDITION or OVERWRITE functions in ODS, etc.)

"Check Delta Loads (if necessary)

3. Check every BW internal dataflow - i.e. updates from one DSO to another etc.

Check number of data sets (take into consideration potential selection or aggregation)

Test of start routine in the update rules (e.g. filtering, calculations or field mapping)

Check Aggregation: characteristics and key figures (ADDITION or OVERWRITE)

Check if all attributes are populated correctly

Check if all key figures are populated and calculated correctly
