Actually i have to find the particular week of the year from a particular date.

Well Remember , the time characteristics are always derived automatically, try to figure out all the sap defined dates that probabaly customs fits your requirement.

but I have this .. I need some more details . and if possible some complex coding as I am not so conversant with ABAP .

How do you define "complex" coding? Have you written any code which is not working? Is there any scenario you need help with? Or just any code which looks "complex"!!
