Hi,

For proxy to file scenario, refer this blog:

/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy

After creating the proxy thru sproxy ,u need to push in values into the message interface using the execute-async method. For this u need to create an abap program which calls this method and pushes values into the message types.

For furher help pls revert back.

Priyanka

Hi,

You can create packages with transaction "se80".

Is like normal ABAP Development

Hi,

You can choose an already available package name or use $TMP.

hi,

for each ABAP Proxy Scenario u need to have this type of Package Structure

For:

CLIENT PROXIES

<b>Structure--Package Type--Level</b>

Z<Servername>_STRUCTPACK -Structure Package-I

- Z<Servername>_MAINPACK- Main Package---II

-Z<Servername>_CLIENTPROXYNot a Main PackageIII

-

your package nameNot a Main Package--IV

SERVER PROXIES

<b>Structure----Package Type----Level</b>

Z<Servername>_STRUCTPACKStructure Package-I

- Z<Servername>_MAINPACKMain Package-II

-Z<Servername>_SERVERPROXYNot a Main Package---III

-

your package name Not a Main Package-IV

The steps for creating your package:-

1. Log on to <Server> using login name as <b>xisuper</b>.

2. Go to <b>se21</b> transaction.

3. Specify a name for the package. Click create button.

4. Write some description and change the Package type to Not a Main Package

5. Click create icon. Your Package is created.

6. Now you have to include this package under the IIIrd Level Package.

Steps for including the created package:

1. Go to <b>se21</b> transaction.

2. Specify name of the package as Z<Servername>_CLIENTPROXY (for CLIENT Proxy) or Z<Servername>_SERVERPROXY (for SERVER Proxy). Click change button.

3. Go to Packages Included tab. Click Add existing package button. Specify the name of the package created (e.g. ZTest). Select the package.

4. So now you have added your package into the hierarchy.

5. While creating proxy give the package name as the one you created (e.g. ZTest).

These were the steps used for creating and adding each packages in all the levels.

Now try ur Scenario using the Weblogs published. This is the elementary thing u have to do before a Abap proxy scenario.
