Hi Everybody,
I can get the field names of a standard data source(say for example 0plant_attr) using table ROOSFIELD .
Now i want to know from which tables these fields are coming from.
How to get the table name for a each field in datasource.
Another Question : What is object version 'D' in standard data source mean. Does that mean SAP has given it and that is what SAP recommends
Please advise.Points Assured
Hi Sujay,
To get the table name of the datasource, go to R3--> tcode LBWE->your datasource ---> maintanace...> you will get to see the communication structure name...that is nothing but your table name e.g MCVBAK...so the table name will be VBAK.
The object version D means 'Delivered ' Version by SAP. You can make some changes and activate it to use it. That will be your A version.
Thanks...
Shambhu

Hi
RSA6 -- Extract Structure -- Copy the Extract Struct
try at SE11 -- for the Structure -- Fields tab will show the tables ( Where used list )
But I suggest help.sap.com to see the Base tables always ....
Hope it helps

Go to RSA6--> select your DataSource->
Double click it--->It will take you to the Datsource
display screen, there double click the Extract Structure
--->It will display the structure, there you can see the fields and
can know the table name.
For example Go to 0Customer_Attr--->The extract strucure
of it is BIW_KNA1_S,the table is KNA1,customer master table.
