Hi Experts,

I' m facing an issue while running a webi report in 3.1 Rich client, Please help me in this case

This is a configuration error on the Oracle side.

The most common cause is for this very error is when the tnsnames.ora is not in the default location you should in that case put a copy of tnsnames.ora file in the  Oracle root...\network\ADMIN folder and  then create an environment variable that points to this file

The environment variable is TNS_ADMIN and the value the path where tnsnames.ora is.

Needs logoff and logon to be effective or a reboot.

If you still get stuck troubleshoot on the database side, because the client is working as expected, it is the connectivity software that returns the error
