One customer wants to buy 20~30 ASA clients to do the data synchronous between pad and ASE. I think he can do 2 different choices: 1. one advance ASA include 25 client license. 2. six workgroup ASA include 5 client license per server

Do these two packages work ? if not, which one should I choose and what's the difference?

Only thinking about the Mobilink function.

If HA is future plan, workgroup version can fulfill this requirement?

If you're only requiring MobiLink functionality, you just need to purchase any base package (eg. 5-User Workgroup Edition), then buy additional database sync seats (UltraLite in your case if the client is iOS). For future reference, if you're buying a SQL Anywhere package and require it's use as a server, please note that the Workgroup Edition is limited to use of 2 CPUs, Standard Edition - 4 CPUs, and Advanced Edition - no limit on CPUs.
