We are on 7.11 and have searched all SCN, the problem is unique to only particular synchronous interface. Every 1 in 10 message goes fine in this synchronous interface as well.
For asynchronous interface we have the restart message job which take care of this intermittent failure whenever it occurs.

note : all cache refreshes are up to date and checked. everything related to cache has been done. Since this is intermittent issue, we are sure that all the service users and passwords are correct. SAP is also not able to provide support on this as they are not sure what is causing the issue.

we could think of this as a solution http://scn.sap.com/message/2265061#2265061 but this is relevant to XI and we are on 7.11 SP 05

Please reply with appropriate solutions.... thank you all in advance.

Hello

There are a few possible solutions to this issue which are documented in note 1242382 XI runtime: AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR for SLD access. I would recommend to implement these recommendations and check if the error still occurs.

Hi Vila,

I want to bring in this again, that this happens once in a while and when it happens it basically starts failing the messages. This is an intermittent behaviour, and it resolves it by itself.

Down point is, we have to process the synchronous messages manually during this period which is a lot of work to do again. We want to troubleshoot why this happens intermittently and ever since past few months this is more frequent.

I checked the note you mentioned about and all the Exchange Profile parameters seems to be correct as the messages are processed until we again see this error. So username/password and all these parameters are correct else it would not work at all  !?!
