Hi,

I get an error message when accessing ESS content. (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon).

I have tested the JCO's and the are green (the metadata connection and the other one) and we are not using uername and password, but SSO ticket. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Ingvild

We had to reimplment the original premissions. That solved the issue, but we never know what caused it.

Hi,

I am facing same problem.

How did you solve the issue?

I have already tested all JCO connections. They are working fine.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

As our friends suggested please check with usr id and password in the back end mention the same for JCO,s, and make sure in which client in back end you are checking ( this should be default client metioned in javastack).

Please let us know if this answer is help full. Thank you,

hi

if the problem not yet solved

just check the sso is working properly or not by choosing

systemadministration-->support->sap application---->Goto Tool and configuration test -> under Tool select transaction->Give the system name (logical system name (usermanagemenlogon ticket)--. give one transaction like se11 or something and run .......

if sso is working properly -

check whether the user is locked....and the user should be in su01 also.

let me know if solved.

check this ,,,,,i resolved this issue earlier.

thankyou

Hi,

It might also happen that the backend user is inactive or is locked. It might not have the required RFC authorization. Please check all these factors.

Thanks

Hi Ingvild,

You need to test the JCO destination first then while testing if you still gets this error that means your userid which you are using to test JCO destination is NOT exists in backend system. Please check it and verify.

That should also be ok because we did a system copy of the portal, and the backend is still the same.

This worked before.

Yes the userid exists. I do the JCO conenction test with the same user.

Hi,

Check that the user has proper roles in backend to use the RFC.
