Hi,
I've got a question about the possible values of 0FIAA_SIM in the 0FI_AA_12 datasource. I understand a value of ' ' is a posted value, an 'X' is a simulated value, but am unsure about the records that come through with an 'N' in this field.
In our environment, we see 'N' records coming through for the latest period with posted values. As expected the values are showing as 'posted' for these records in AW01n. Previous posted periods have the expected ' ' value in 0FIAA_SIM.
This suggests that 'N' signifies records that have most recently had their simulated values overwritten with actual (posted) values but despite searching, I've not been able to get a definitive definition.
Does anyone have any information about this?
Hi Karthik,
No, the 0FI_AA_12 extractor does not support generating simulated depreciation for future years beyond the current year. It typically provides data up to the current period, so it won't satisfy the requirement for future periods like 2025-2028.
