After an excellent launch of our
new webcast series last month we, the UI5 team, are eagerly awaiting the next episode of
UI5ers live and hope you feel just the same. Therefore we want to remind you, that on the second Thursday of November or more precisely
on November 12 at 15:15 CET UI5ers live opens up it’s line again with current topics around UI5. We again have no registration but just be on time to login.
We are especially glad that already for the second episode we got a contribution from the community and invited our great friend
tobias.hofmann to our UI5 expert round. He will review with us the
contributions to OpenUI5.
Another topic of this issue is the recently released
OpenUI5 version 1.84, the much-awaited most
current version with long term maintenance. First of all, Stefan will say some words on this subject and when to expect SAPUI5 to follow. Then we want to stress the importance of
Accessibility and
nikolay.kolarov will highlight some significant improvements that have been made over the past year. On concluding our webcast we invite all participants to discuss with us the agenda for the subsequent UI5ers live in December.
As you will see, there is a lot to share and discuss. 30 minutes might be a bit tight, therefore
we already blocked our calendars for even 45 minutes to allow us sufficient time for discussions.
Of course, the episode will be recorded again and published on our OpenUI5 YouTube channel afterwards. But for sure this is just half of the fun. So, block your calendar and be there for the next episode of
UI5ers live:
- Date: November 12, 2020
- Time: 15:15 – 16:00 CET
- Location: Virtual (no registration, just join at the assigned time)

The calendar entry already contains the blocker to our third episode on Thursday, December 10, same time and location. For January it’s likely that we will differ a little from our accustomed date and are back only a week later. But we will announce all upcoming dates in time on the
SAPUI5 community topic page and on the
OpenUI5 community page!
Missed the first episode in October? No problem! The
recording has already been published.
Looking forward to meeting you all again!
