The ABAP Platform strategy highlights innovations that may help you plan and implement your digital journey and explains how these innovations may add value to your business.

ABAP Platform Roadmap Information

The ABAP Platform delivers its features as part of several SAP products. This document gives you an overview of important planned or upcoming feature milestones for the next releases for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) ABAP Environment, and SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition. ABAP Cloud is delivered as part of these SAP solutions. The av1ailable ABAP Cloud scope depends on the respective SAP solution.

The feature set of the ABAP Cloud development model is enhanced quarterly for SAP BTP, ABAP environment, half-yearly for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, and every two years for SAP S/4HANA starting with release 2023.
