Previously, you had to do some work to convert SAP HANA Cloud version information into its equivalent Quarterly Release Cycle (QRC) version. For example, the 42 in SAP HANA Cloud version 2021.
42.10 meant week 42, which is found in the year's fourth quarter (so, QRC 4 of 2021). Whew
🙂
And you needed to do that because much of the product information in various other locations such as the
SAP HANA Cloud What's New, and even the
main documentation for
SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA database, is QRC-based.

Now, you can figure out the QRC version without doing any conversion.
To determine the QRC version:
- In SAP BTP Cockpit, make sure SAP HANA Cloud is selected in the Applications pane on the left side.
- Locate the tile for the database you want to determine the QRC version for, then click Actions >> Open in SAP HANA Cockpit. This delivers you to Monitoring view in SAP HANA cockpit.
- Click the dropdown arrow at the top left of the page (next to Monitoring) to pick the Administration view.
- Look for the Database Information card on the Administration view to find all version-related information, including the new QRC Version:
