SAP Note Implementation Made Easy: Use the Note Analyzer to Bundle and Implement SAP Notes for the Electronic Document Processing Framework

In this blog post I'll explain how to use the Note Analyzer to implement easily all the SAP Notes relevant for the Electronic Document Processing Framework.

What is the Note Analyzer?

The Note Analyzer is a tool that provides an intuitive, user-friendly, and simplified way of analyzing and implementing SAP Notes according to your business needs.

Why should I use the Note Analyzer to implement Electronic Document Processing Framework SAP Notes?

As part of the ongoing improvements, the Electronic Document Processing Framework team has released an SAP Note that bundles all the relevant framework SAP Notes in the correct sequence. If you follow the steps in this SAP Note and you use the Note Analyzer, no manual copy and paste of SAP Notes into transaction SNOTE is required anymore.

The SAP Note delivers an XML file with all the relevant framework SAP Notes that you can then upload to your system via SNOTE transaction.

What do I need to do?

1. Implement the following SAP Notes:
   
   • 3200109 - SNOTE : Note Analyzer - SAP ONE Support Launchpad
   • 3233591 - Note Analyzer: Improvements in the UI and the addition of a Content Field - SAP ONE Suppor....
     
     
2. Read SAP Note 3420418 - Electronic Document Processing - Implementing Framework SAP Notes with Note Analyzer (as o... and download the attached XML file.
3. Launch transaction SNOTE. In the menu bar choose Goto -> other tools -> Launch Note Analyzer.
4. Upload the file <name>.XML available as attachment. You can process the SAP Notes using the Note Analyzer now.
