SAP is pleased to announce the latest release of SAP IQ - Version 16.1 SP 05 is now available!  This latest SP includes various enhancements such as:

  • New client/connection security options







      • SAP IQ servers now support encrypted TDS connections over TLS. Previously, only unencrypted TDS connections were supported.







  • Improved performance of system stored procedures including sp_iqfile and sp_iqdbspace







      • Optimized calculation of space utilization for DB files







  • A new table level backup feature







      • With the table-level backup and restore functionality, you can now back up and restore individual tables in SAP IQ.







  • A new connection option to SAP HANA Cloud, data lake







      • A new action item named “Connect to Data Lake IQ” has been added to the Login tab of the ODBC Configuration for SAP IQ user interface, on Windows.







  • .NET Core support
