SAP Fiori is the new user experience for SAP. First introduced at SAPPHIRE 2013, SAP Fiori has grown from an initial set of 25 apps to over 500 apps covering every line of business across all industries. The momentum behind SAP Fiori UX is huge and there are no signs of it slowing down any time soon. The SAP Fiori topic that was originally planted in the SAP for Mobile space how now blossomed into a flowering community of its own.

As of February 9th 2015 the SAP Fiori community is live. For those of you who were used to the ‘What is SAP Fiori UX’ document in the SAP for Mobile space, you can now find the same document in the new SAP Fiori community, titled ‘All Things SAP Fiori’. You’ll notice the look and feel has changed but the contents remain the same.

Each topic within a given category will take you to a document where you will find a detailed list of relevant assets. We encourage community members to edit the topic documents at any time to add their assets to the list. For more information on how to contribute reference How to get the most out of the New SAP Fiori Community. Additionally, we included a home button on the top of every sub document that will take members back to the All Things Fiori page and we included a link to filter discussions, blogs, and documents based on the Fiori category. The Technology RIG team, in conjunction with the GTM and AGS teams, are working hard to ensure content is relevant and questions are answered promptly. We recommend at a minimum bookmarking the All Things Fiori page but for an added benefit we recommend choosing the ‘Receive email notifications’ option from the Action box. When we add a new asset to one of the Fiori pages we broadcast the new addition to subscribed members by adding a comment to the All Things Fiori landing page. This is a nice way of staying up to date on the newest Fiori assets while not having your email bombarded with updates from each page. Community members can expect to find how to guides, relevant SAP documentation, lessons learned from other community members, and most importantly an active community that is passionate about the SAP Fiori topic.

If you haven’t visited the site yet we invite you to do so. We encourage your participation and hope to see you collaborating and sharing experiences on SCN soon.
