SAP Cloud Integration version 2.38 comes with an enhancement feature to locate/find the source or target element in message mapping editor from the expression editor.
The "Find Field" action has now been introduced with which you can locate/find the relevant element/node. This feature will be helpful if you are running through a complex mapping expression and you need to locate the element in source or target. Upon clicking on "Find Field", the relevant source or target element/node is located and highlighted in mapping editor.
Below are sample screen shots which guides you on how to use this enhancement.
Consider a sample Integration Flow Project.
Select Message Mapping 1 flow step and select Processing tab and click on the message mapping resource (Levels.mmap in this case), which opens up the message mapping editor.
Select the source mapping expression element and in the menu extension, you will see a new action "Field Field" introduced.
Clicking on it will locate/find the element/node in the source section of message mapping editor. If the source element/node is not in the visible area, auto scroll of the table will happen.
The similar "Find Field" action is available at the target expression element as well, with an icon action menu
