Introduction

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an all-in-one cloud-based platform that offers powerful tools for business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics. It is designed to help your organization make data-driven decisions by providing comprehensive insights, visualizations, and real-time analysis of their data.

SAP Analytics Cloud has been no less than SAP’s strategic direction in reporting tools for several years.

Technically, SAP Analytics Cloud is a cloud-based SaaS solution that can connect both the most common SAP systems, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and non-SAP sources (SQL databases, Google Drive). In scope, SAP Analytics Cloud offers an immense variety of features in the areas of reporting, planning, predictive and application development.

Reporting: In this area, customers and partners can find, on the one hand, the so-called Live Data Connection for agile real-time reporting. In addition, SAP Analytics Cloud provides the user with the option of replicating data to the cloud as required using the import function.

Planning: The integrated planning component of SAP Analytics Cloud is already strategically positioned by SAP and removes the previous separation between planning and reporting. It is therefore no longer necessary to switch between different tools.

Predictive: With the Smart Assist (user interface for predictive analytics), users can also use SAP Analytics Cloud for predictive predictive models without deep statistical knowledge. Alternatively, predictive experts can integrate their own environment that can be used for advanced statistics and machine learning.

Application development: SAP Analytics Designer is another central component of SAP Analytics Cloud, which enables customers/partners to implement planning and analytics applications in responsive designs.

In conclusion and overall, by embarking on a learning journey with SAC, technical professionals can gain valuable insights and skills to effectively analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and create interactive visualizations for their organizations.
