The SAP Activate Methodology supports the project team in a transition to SAP Data Warehouse Cloud with a detailed description of the entire implementation project which is called "transition roadmap". The Roadmap Viewer is a tool used by the  project team members to navigate the phases, deliverables, tasks and accelerators related to the SAP Activate methodology.

The transition roadmap is updated quarterly to cover the newest product release and support package and to contain the latest scope, processes and accelerators. The roadmap graphic gives an overview of all phases and the activities, starting with the strategic planning until the go-live.

In this new release for 20Q3, we have added information on the integration between SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud, including links to videos about business cases how customers have extended their SAP BW/4HANA to the cloud creating a hybrid data warehousing strategy, in addition, all accelerators have been updated to the latest SP.

This is an excerpt of the new accelerators:

– Blog “How companies extend SAP BW/4HANA to the Cloud”
– Youtube video “SAP Data Warehouse Cloud: How Companies Extend SAP BW/4HANA to the Cloud
– Use Case Hybrid: SAP BW/4HANA + SAP Data Warehouse Cloud – Extending Data Warehousing to the Cloud
