On January 25, 20022 SAP Academic Community Conference CIS took place in hybrid mode in
SAP Digital Space Moscow, Russia. It was the first on-site CIS SAP Academic Community gathering since the epidemic breakdown in early 2020.
More than 60 representatives of UA-member and partner organisations joined the Conference: almost 25 people were on-site at the SAP Digital Space Moscow while 40+ participants joined online.
During the conference, SAP University Alliances VP, Dr. Michael Nuernberg announced the global news 2022 from the SAP University Alliance, Alexey Petunin,COO SAP CIS, talked about the SAP global and CIS market strategies, and Natalia Aksakova, SAP CIS Director for Sustainable Development, shared the company's global and local ESG agenda and respective key projects outlooks.
Just before the participants were offered to attend SAP Digital Space Moscow exhibition of innovation cases which included: calculations in the housing and communal services market using blockchain technology, Microgrid solution for energy, and fashion tech solution and Industry 4.0 scenario and others. The excursion for attendees was held by Andrey Yakimov, CTO of SAP CIS.
After the lunch break, Dr. Yury Kupriyanov, SAP University Alliances Country Manager for CIS, spoke about SAP student accelerators and held a discussion on this topic with the guests of the conference, then Dr. Igor Belousov, SAP University Alliances Global Director for Learning Content resented the updated SAP resources and materials for teaching and learning (including
new book on SAP Analytics Cloud prepared by
Prof. Dmitry Nazarov of
Ural State University of Economics), and also announced cooperation with SAP ICN. Then Anton Nozdrin, SAP CIS business solutions architect , held a workshop on the use of no/low-code technologies, in just 10 minutes without programming, he created an application to read QR codes of products.
Anna Valyukhova, lead expert of
SAP ACC in St.Petersburg, demonstrated current educational offers from the UCC/ACC/TLE.
The event was concluded by a pannel discussion devoted to the results and plans for the future SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Academies for students in CIS region. Yury Kupriyanov of SAP University Alliances, Anastasia Loginova, Partner Activation Manager, SAP CIS, and Anton Ambrajei, Deputy director of SAP ACC in St. Petersburg, deep-dived into the Academies' statistical insights and shared the structure and planned dates to kick off Academies for year 2022.
