Introduction

In fact, SAC’s calendar provides a lot of capabilities to manage planning periods. Processes, events and especially workflows can be orchestrated centrally within SAC's calendar. To ensure an organized execution of any company's planning period the calendar provides lots of features and functions to support business workflows. The tight integration of SAC's calendar into SAC's planning applications positions workflows at the heart of every planning activity!

The scenario (along the fictional example of the company ABC computer) in the video shown below gives a first glimpse on what value planning process components deliver to organize planning periods in operation.

Note, the video already uses the upcoming feature: dependencies. It allows linking calendar tasks. The feature is planned to be released in 2022 QRC2 of SAP Analytics Cloud!
