Hi everyone,

perhaps you already heard via the openSAP announcements or via social media that we announced two returning openSAP courses on SAP HANA Cloud Platform this week:

SAP HANA Cloud Platform Essentials (Repeat)
As a developer, you will learn about the essential elements of SAP HANA Cloud Platform and how you can make the most of the variety of services it provides. Even if you’ve joined the previous SAP HANA Cloud Platform courses on openSAP, you will learn about the newly introduced services such as Internet of Things (IoT), gamification, mobile documents, and much more. This course opens on February 7 and is now open for enrollment.

Developing Java-Based Apps on SAP HANA Cloud Platform (Update Q1/2017)
In this updated course, there will be an additional mobile scenario for the Enterprise Sales & Procurement Model (ESPM) app using SAP HANA Cloud Platform, mobile service. With this course, you will learn to develop the OData services and Java Persistence API (JPA) model with the database connection in the back end, as well as the SAPUI5 web app front end. The ESPM app will be used throughout this course to demonstrate the end-to-end process for developers. The course will also include a system preparation week, starting March 29.

And if you already have some experience with SAP HANA Cloud Platform and can't wait to get right into it, there is one course on SAP HANA Cloud Platform extensions starting this week:

Extending SAP S/4HANA with SAP HANA Cloud Platform
SAP S/4HANA Customers and Partners can build extensions with SAP HANA Cloud Platform, as well as add new capabilities and delivery methods to tablets and smartphones. After an initial introduction to typical scenarios and architectures, you’ll work on extension development projects on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, such as integration with cloud connector and OData provisioning, integration with real back-end data using replication, OData APIs, and remote function modules, improve user experience, and much more. Extending SAP S/4HANA with SAP HANA Cloud Platform starts from January 11 and runs over a six week period.

All the best,
