Business Process Analytics in SAP Solution Manager went mobile. Since 28.11.2013 the new app "SAP Business Process Analytics" is available for download in Apple's App Store (see https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/sap-business-process-analytics/id765620530?mt=8). The app itself is only designed for iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or higher. It comes free of charge and provides some demo mode so that you can get an idea how the app works even if you are not connected to any SAP Solution Manager system yet.If you want to see your own Business Process Analytics data on the iPad then you require SAP Solution Manager 7.1 with support package 10 or higher and SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 or higher.

The mobile app does not support all features of the desktop applicationbut it supports the benchmarking and trend analysis based on InfoCube data.

So you can either select key figures or stored variants (as they exist within the desktop application).



You can then use the benchmarking or trend analysis features and drill-down to certain characteristics.



If you then see something exceptional that you want to share with colleagues, you can annotate and send the finding via email.




As data is cached locally on the iPad you can even use the data offline and analyze your key figures, although you are not connected to the corporate network.
