To differentiate, companies tend to enhance and customize the business processes. To achieve this goal seamlessly, it is important to look at platform capabilities which supports extensions and integrations so that companies can quickly adapt to changing demands and innovate without disruption. SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) as a unified, business-centric, and open platform enables users to integrate and create value from data and allows them to extend their SAP and third-party solution landscapes to meet evolving business needs.

With the #Hack2Build  program, an accelerated methodology to support the partners innovation needs, has been initiated. The program has been running successfully across EMEA and Americas region. For the first time, the program was hosted in India in August, to cater to the innovative partner ecosystem.

Six companies took the challenge to participate in the India inaugural event to build a prototype to extend SAP S/4HANA Cloud using SAP Business Technology Platform. The experts from across SAP teams supported the partners in validating their use-cases, architecture and providing technical support for 7 days during the hackathon.

Within a week, the partners from India were able to shape their use-case and demonstrate a 'minimal viable product' of  value to address customer needs.

Like many of the previous #Hack2build events, the India event displayed a tough challenge for the judges of the event, who after considerable deliberation, selected the winning teams.

Three winners emerged from the #Hack2Build-India event:

WINNERSAVIC Technologies

SAVIC’s application called as Drishit was shown to help manage stock and supply chain better across all platforms for FMCGs. A digital dashboard giving 360-degree visibility of stock position and provide real time alerts and actionable insights for manufacturers of FMCG products. Although limited extraction from sources were shown during the event, SAVIC plans to enhance and build tools to extract data from multiple sources across different platforms. The data from suppliers, stockists, e-commerce platforms and other sources would be curated on SAP BTP data lakes. This would help customers get a holistic and real time insight into stock status across various stages in the supply chain.
