The live course period of the openSAP course Building Apps with the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) successfully ended on December 1, 2020 - and the course is now available in self-paced mode.

You can still enroll to the course on the openSAP platform today and go through the learning materials at your own speed. You will be able to use the self-tests to check your knowledge after each unit and also carry out the various hands-on exercises on the free SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ABAP Environment trial - formerly known as SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment.

What has changed with the self-paced mode?

The graded assignments - i.e. the five weekly assignments and the final exam - are no longer available by default.

The discussion forum - which contains many answered questions about the topics and examples covered in the course and beyond - is now in read-only mode. This means that the discussion posts created by the participants during the live period are still available for reading, but new ones can no longer be created.

In case you have any questions related to the course, please search the forum first as you will most likely find suitable answers from the RAP team or other course participants to many, if not all, of them there.

How can I get a Record of Achievement now?

For those who are interested in earning a Record of Achievement for this course, they can access all graded assignments with the openSAP, course reactivation option.

The actual course reactivation takes place via the reactivate now! button on the course page.
