On Premises, Managed or Cloud - Comparing different portal deployment options

In the past few years, the SAP Portal portfolio has evolved from a single SAP NetWeaver Portal (with various usage types) which is install on premises to two products with several deployment options. SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.4 - On Premises, Using CAL or hosted on HEC and the SAP HANA Cloud Portal, running on top of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform. The attached whitepaper is aimed at helping customers choose between the different options - provide clear(-ish) guidelines on when to use what.
