Here is the short summary of SAP Cloud Platform API Management course on openSAP, which you’ll begin by learning API Management basics and gradually progress to master advanced API Management topics. Before you register I thought, I would offer up this snapshot to help clarify:
- Course content-Spread over 3 weeks, the course consists of lectures, demos, and learning assignments.
In week 1, we'll introduce you to the concepts and ideas of SAP Cloud Platform API Management offering. We’ll start by looking at the “the big picture”, how the solution supports full-lifecycle API management from design through develop, manage, and monetize, to engage, in the cloud.
In week 2, we'll see how customers and partners can expose data, processes, and services from their back-end cloud or on-premise solutions as managed APIs using SAP Cloud Platform API Management.
In week 3, we'll take you through scenario-driven API design journeys. We’ve used different personas like API owner and API developer as examples to help you understand the concepts easily.
This course is aimed at application developers, who’ll learn how to discover, explore, and build apps by leveraging APIs. Also, technical consultants, who can share enterprise data from data lakes or business systems with suppliers, partners and customers. And, of course, SAP's customers and partners themselves.
The course will start on September 12th 2018 and will be available till October 11th 2018.
