New Major Release is on the way - SAP Business Client 7.70

Update: 7.70 has been released 

Our new major release for SAP Business Client and SAP GUI for Windows is planned for Q1 2021.

The beta started in June and is now closed.

 

A glimpse of what's coming:

• Fiori 3 - Quartz Theme


• Microsoft Edge WebView2


• full 64-bit Version


• Dynamic Browser control selection


• SAP Cloud Platform launchpad (known as central Fiori launchpad =>cFPL) Integration


• Session Timeout Handling

At this point I’d like to remind you that SAP Business Client 6.5 will be out of restricted support today (March 31, 2020).

We therefor strictly recommend installing the latest version:

SAP ONE Support Launchpad (SAP Software Download Center).

 

=> No more fixes in the "old" version. But of cause no "technical shut down". Functional working with SAP Business Client 6.5 together with SAP GUI 7.50 will remain.
