shared with everyone that SAP HANA express edition had reached over 60K downloads since its debut one year ago. SAP HANA express edition helps developers learn about the SAP HANA technology and build next-generation solutions easily. The incredible demand by the development community encouraged us to continue improving the express edition to make it easier, and more flexible to use.
One year ago, SAP HANA, express edition was introduced as the free, streamline downloadable edition that can be installed on a laptop, PC, or server for at a maximum of 32GB memory. For more than 32GB, you can purchase an additional license in
SAP Store for 64GB, 96GB, or 128GB memory use. You can download
here and start your own journey. It is also offered via the
SAP Cloud Appliance Library which is managed by SAP for easier access in the cloud.
Today, we are glad to announce a broader collaboration with more public cloud providers, as well as with container technology companies. SAP HANA express edition is available in public cloud marketplaces that include:
Google Cloud Launcher,
Huawei Cloud, and
Microsoft Azure Marketplace. In addition, it is now also available on
