There are two North Star metrics that go into making a successful intelligent enterprise: first, time to insight — in other words, how long it takes you to get to a meaningful insight into your processes by looking at your data. And second, time to adapt, which is how long it takes you to act upon the insights that you have to transform the customer experience and the employee experience, and the way you run your business.

During SAP’s second Hyperautomation webinar, we had the opportunity to demonstrate how SAP Business Process Intelligence can help you leverage process mining to accelerate both time to insight and time to adapt.

SAP Business Process Intelligence provides SAP Process Insights, which offers peer performance benchmarking, hundreds of prebuilt process performance indicators for SAP, and tailored recommendations on how to improve. It also comes with SAP Signavio Process Transformation products, among which are Process Mining, Process Management and Simulation, Workflow Acceleration, the Collaboration Hub, and Customer Journey Modeling, to help you get necessary insights into your processes.

And finally, you have Business Process Improvement products, such as SAP Process Automation with SAP Intelligent RPA and Workflow Management, SAP Low-Code/No-Code Platform and Solutions, and the SAP Integration Suite for integration APIs and content.

How do these products fit together? The SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub is at the center of things, where your end users can collaborate on and manage your company’s digital transformation.

In our session, we paid particular attention to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, which allows you to embrace a data-driven approach to discovering, analyzing, and mining your end-to-end processes, and on SAP Process Automation, especially SAP Intelligent RPA.

You start by monitoring and analyzing with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, then you can move on to design and simulate with SAP Signavio Process Manager and SAP Collaboration Hub. And after that, you can begin to actually improve your processes with SAP Intelligent RPA or SAP Workflow Management. And at the end, you can roll out and govern using SAP Signavio Process Manager and SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub.

After you finish analyzing your business process with SAP Signavio and identifying process bottlenecks, you can build bots using SAP Intelligent RPA to automate repetitive across lines of businesses and industries, with the result that you will save time and money and reduce human error in your operations.

SAP Intelligent RPA comes with many ready-to-use bots. However, for our presentation we chose a scenario for which there were no best-practice bots available in order to demonstrate how to use a low-code editor to create a new bot project.

If you would like to learn more about using SAP Process Insights and SAP Signavio Process Transformation, please follow the links at the end of this post. But we hope you will also take the time to watch our session, and in particular, our step-by-step demo that shows how flexible and powerful SAP Business Intelligence tools are, and how quickly you can put them to work to help you improve both your time to insight into your processes and your time to adapt your processes to fit your business needs.
