This session will provide an overview on how to leverage SAP HANA from SAP NetWeaver AS for ABAP applications that integrate with the SAP Business Suite. Speakers will explore concrete examples and best practices for customers and partners based on SAP NetWeaver AS for ABAP 7.4. This includes the following aspects: the impact of SAP HANA on existing customer-specific developments, advanced view building capabilities, and easy access to database procedures in the application server for ABAP; usage of advanced SAP HANA capabilities like text search or predictive analysis from the application server for ABAP; and best practices for an end-to-end application design on SAP HANA. Finally, with SAP NetWeaver 7.4, SAP has reached a new milestone in evolving the application server for ABAP programming language to a modern expression-oriented programming language. The new SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP features covered in this session will include inline declarations, constructor expressions, table expressions, table comprehensions, and the new deep move corresponding.
