Maybe you are already aware of the app Import Sales Orders. In this app, you can create multiple sales orders via an EXCEL file. Start from SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2202, a new app Import Sales Scheduling Agreements is delivered, you can now also easily import multiple sales scheduling agreements from an EXCEL file and this article will give an overview of this app.

How to access

There is no independent tile for Import Sales Scheduling Agreements on SAP Fiori launchpad. you need to first find Import Sales Documents under group "Mass Processing of Sales Documents" (role SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP).

In this app, you can see all the imports triggered by your user and import apps for different document types. For more details, check the section More Info.

There are two options to open the new delivered app "Import Sales Scheduling Agreements"

  • First option: Click the navigation card "Sales Scheduling Agreements"

It will lead you to the import page

  • Second option: if you want to check the details about a particular import, you can click the import entry in the table.

It will lead you to the import details page. On this page, you can see all import items regarding this Import.

How to use

Step1: Download template and fill content

Open Import Page:

First, you can click "Download Template" to get the EXCEL template file. In the template file, there are two sheets. The first sheet named "Field List" lists all fields that can be imported into the system.

In the second sheet named "Scheduling Agreement Data", You will see several default columns. If these columns fit your requirements, you can input the data accordingly.

If you want to adjust the columns, double click row 4 for detailed instructions.

Since there are both header and item info in a same row, if you want to import multiple line items for one scheduling agreement header, you have two options here:

  • Option 1, repeat the header for each line item

  • Option 2, leave header content blank starting from second line item

Step2 Upload EXCEL file and preview order data

Select or drag the EXCEL file prepared in the step 1 onto the Import page. Then you can preview the order data that has been entered. If there are some errors, you can see table rows and problematic fields highlighted in red.

Please notice that some errors exist at item level. You can choose header data to open the items.

And you can also check error details by clicking "View details" in the message strip.

Correct your file content according to the messages. Once errors are cleared in the preview, the "Import" button in the footer toolbar will be available.

Step3 Import sales scheduling agreements and check creation results

Once you has confirmed preview data, click "Import". Then you can click "View Import" in the message box.

The system will lead you to object page which will shows the creation status of each scheduling agreement. If some records have the creation status "In Process", you can click "Refresh" to get the latest status.

Once the scheduling agreements have been created, you can choose the document number link to navigate to related apps. If the creation has failed, you can also click the log icon for more information.

In case you want to check earlier imports, click "All Imports (Scheduling Agreements)".

The import list page is displayed, giving you an overview of all imports triggered by your user.


Additional Info

If you already used app Import Sales Orders, you would notice that the newly delivered app looks almost the same as Import Sales Orders.
