Multicloud Access
Chief partner engineer,
philip.mugglestone just updated his
SAP HANA Cloud playlist on the SAP HANA Academy YouTube channel with two new video tutorials covering SAP Web IDE for HANA development.
The development tools for HANA contains SAP Web IDE Full-Stack aimed for HANA native development targeting your Cloud Foundry trial environment. Use these tools to develop HANA database models, calculation views, flowgraphs and other HANA artifacts.
Note that this is a temporary solution, available on trial only, until HANA development tools will be fully supported in SAP Business Application Studio.
We cover
- How to subscribe to the SAP Web ID for HANA development service on an SAP Cloud Platform trial account.
- How to configure SAP Web IDE for development with SAP HANA Cloud.
- How to build a sample project and explore the HDI container in the database explorer.
- How to work with Node.js, Yeoman, and the HAA generator locally to generate an application framework and upload to SAP Web IDE, add the Java code, and deploy to SAP Cloud Platform
Prerequisites
For this sample environment we have already created an SAP HANA Cloud instance.
