In this call, August Engkilde, Principal Consultant at Gavdi Labs in Denmark, showcased how they replaced a complete on-premise HR portal with SAP Fiori apps for their customer Novo Nordisk. Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with more than 95 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. They employ approximately 42,200 people in 80 countries and markets its products in more than 170 countries.
While rethinking their processes and the digital experience of Novo Nordisks' employees, Gavdi Labs improved the user experience and extended the reach of the applications by providing a mobile access.
Learn from August how they balanced the design requirements from marketing with the SAP Fiori design guidelines to ensure consistency of the standard and custom-build applications. August will demo example SAP Fiori apps and explain details on their design decisions.
After August’s introduction to the project, Kai Richter, Chief Designer for SAP Fiori at SAP, presented the showcase from an SAP Fiori Guidelines perspective – including why and when deviations from guidelines make sense with regards of a good UX, general do’s and don’ts and alternative design approaches, e. g. when using the latest SAP Fiori concepts.
