Fujitsu and SAP have announced an updated version of the Fujitsu Power Appliance for SAP Adaptive Sever Enterprise. The appliances are now available in 4 different sizes (Entry, Midsize, Enterprise and DataCenter), Netapp has been added as a storage option to the DataCenter storage configuration and SUSE as an alternative operating system.
The appliance is currently based on a BYOL model for SAP ASE licenses, and shipped with a pre-configured 90 day SAP ASE trial license, below is a summary of the 4 configuration options that are available :-
