On December 11th, 2014 MBA students at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College were the first students in the world to experience the next generation “ERP Simulation Game on SAP HANA” including use of SAP Lumira and Personas!
One of University Alliances’s leading innovators, Professor Pierre-Majorique Léger, together with his colleague Jean-François Michon, led students in a competitive imulation showcasing the “Big Data” power of SAP HANA, the ease of use of SAP with Personas, and the insights executives can gain through use of SAP Lumira. This event was powered by ERPsim on SAP HANA, a simulation technology developed by the team of the ERPsim Lab of HEC Montréal.
A special thanks to Professor Ross Hightower, as well as Jerad Lumina and the UCC team at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, who took on the challenge of installing SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA and provided the hosted instance of the ERPsim on HANA for the Tuck class. Thank you UWM UCC team for your outstanding support!
Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business is the first Ivy League school to use SAP in the classroom. Students experience the SAP ERP Simulation Game in a second year course on “Enterprise Systems and the Governance of Integrated Organizations.” The simulation aims at providing a holistic picture of the role enterprise systems play in supporting business strategy.
