Another blog that lists recent publications about SAP NetWeaver Decision Service Management (NW DSM) and Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus).
SAP Mentor Tobias Trapp shares his experience with BRFplus in a blog. He wouldn't be Tobias had he not also defined learnings and asked some good questions that started a lively discussion. As a consequence Fred Verheul (another SAP Mentor and BRFplus expert) and I plan to offer a networking session at TechEd about the topic. Most likely, Tobias will also be there.
There is a series of videos showing features of Master Data Governance. Since BRFplus is used a lot in MDG, some videos also show its integration and how to set up rules. The videos have been produced by the SAP Database & Technology Academy. Great videos! My only problem with them is that they do not differentiate between BRFplus and BRF.
There is an excellent video providing a step-by-step guide through the process for setting up rule-based workflows in SAP MDG using BRFplus.
This video will walk you through the process for setting up workflow agent determination in SAP MDG-S using BRF step-by-step so that you can perform this process on your system.
James Taylor introduces the topics requirements scoping and blueprinting in two blogs:
The blogs are accompanied by a webinar and a demo James and I built for the topic using DecisionsFirst Modeler and SAP NW DSM.
“Can your business users adapt business processes at the speed of change? Can they achieve this without help from IT? With business rules they can!” This was the tag line for a webcast about the business rules technologies SAP provides. I have no idea why I was mentioned as speaker. I only answered a few questions at the end. Credits go to Vladim Dinev for the presentation and to Mariana Mihaylova for the summary blog.
Wolfgang Schaper from the NW DSM/BRFplus team has been involved in several customer scenarios in the space of social benefit applications. I asked him to write a paper about this to share his experiences. Check out what he did.
A new SDN page has been set up for partners. Partners providing solutions or services adding to or complementing SAP NetWeaver Decision Service Management are welcome to create SCN blogs and documents describing their offering and list them here.
Alexander Lenz, an intern working in the BRFplus team has created a nice video that shows the drag and drop capabilities of BRFplus. The voice in the video is his girlfriend.
