SAP Business Rules Framework (BRFPlus) is used as the business rules management application for defining and processing rules for various applications in S/4HANA.
BRFPlus has a long legacy and have seen many noteworthy upgrades with change in technologies and products. With 1809 release of SAP S/4HANA, it is now integrated seamlessly with SAP Cloud Platform Business Rules. It means that you can now model your ABAP-based rules from SAP Cloud Platform and with one-click, you can directly deploy them to your S/4HANA on-premise backend system.
Earlier this year we released direct deployment to SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform, and with CW38 we release direct deployment to S/4HANA on-premise (1809 release).
