Over the past 10 years SAP has invested into pre-configured business packages in the context of SAP Best Practices, SAP Business All-in-One and SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions, with the main intention to reduce the entry barrier for our customers and prospects to invest in SAP software. From an IT perspective, the pre-configured business processes still need to be implemented on the customer side even if a pre-defined template is in place. Many customers still face delays when setting up and configuring hardware infrastructures. This leads to longer project duration, higher cost, increased risk, and
ultimately unhappy customers.
The SAP Value Prototyping team has an answer to help overcome these hurdles with two closely connected services Pre-Assembly and Cloud Hosting & Logistics Services to drive local customer-centric innovation.
The SAP Pre-Assembly Service offers the opportunity to accelerate projects, allowing to immediately jumpstart implementations without upfront obstacles. SAP Pre-Assembly Service builds confidence with fully functioning business processes available from the early beginning.
SAP Value Prototyping provides a fully-realized and tested, pre-assembled solution in days. This includes pre-installed software bundled with pre-implemented business processes along RDS and/or SAP Best Practices for your specific industry, country, and business needs. This helps simplify the customers’ experience and plays a key role in reducing cost during an implementation project.
The SAP Cloud Hosting & Logistics Service allows customers to take advantage of fast, flexible and convenient cloud environments for just about all your application innovation needs. Leverage this service to experiment with the toughest business application issues in secure, dedicated environments independent of your own data center resources.
With our own globally distributed data centers, we host and connect complete application landscapes and can move software systems as needed, including the complete migration of an on-premise SAP software landscape to a virtualized infrastructure and private cloud environment. Over the last few years
we’ve built up special capabilities to support SAP HANA proof-of-concepts, including the unique capability to shift HANA workloads between physical and virtual servers (Workload Mobility for SAP HANA). As a result, you dramatically reduce installation time and effort along with cost. Because you work with your own data, jumpstarting projects in the cloud allows you to get a running start on your implementation.
