Figure 1 shows new features in core capabilities coming in BI4.1

Freeze header was a request from customers, Gregory said.

In reading mode, you will see Freeze, if you select, you will be able to select the number of rows/lines to freeze.

You can create one or more Custom palettes

When creating a report and the measures and change the context of aggregation and you get the refresh message.  With BI4.1 you have the possibility to perform an automatic refresh.

Figure 8 shows change workflows when you want to create a merged dimension or when you want to add an object to a merged dimension or remove an object

In the past you had to select all dimensions needed or you had to unmerge, relesect & merge again

Report header/footer will have its own set of properties as shown in Figure 9

Figure 10 shows the formula editor

Today you need the values manually; the LOV will be available in BI4.1 so you can add them to your formula

Edit query is available in the quick access toolbar without going through the Data tab as shown in Figure 11.
